WNT V New Zealand from Busch Stadium in a few minutes.
David Accam's saga continues-he finishes the year in Columbus for a rental fee (essentially) of $50K in allocation dollars (from the $500K Columbus paid Philly for him), and is traded to Nashville SC for next season for $450K in said dollars. Said FC will play a couple matches at Nissan Stadium this year again.
Barcelona and the NWSL are still talking about an expansion team, but the main hurdle is Barca requiring an out in sponsorship terms-if the league leaves Nike they want/need to stay.
A new Liga MX/MLS mini-cup that I can't remember if I mentioned before is being whipped up, and the first version seems to be Chicago, Houston, RSL, and LAG v. Xolos, Cruz Azul, Tigres, and Club America.
First CPL expansion in the future right now would be to Quebec City and Laval. The CPL would like to have an Ottawa team, but not owned by the Fury's owners.
Toronto took 35 shots on DC last night and didn't score; Bill Hamid with 12 saves.

Cardiff City makes their way to the Land of Enchantment for an exhibition match v. NM Utd.
https://www.newmexicoutd.com/news_article/show/1025109
And of course the date happens to fall on a home game for the Isotopes so the match will take place on the UNM soccer complex - 6000 or so capacity.

Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston is going to be no more-sold off to a developer. The Battery are going to move back where they used to play way back when downtown, probably at the Citadel.

During last week's RBNY-RSL game, Shep Messing unveiled a whopping story. That (depending on who you talk to), either up to 3 hours or a half hour before kickoff of USA-Belgium in WC2014, Klinsmann wanted to drop Tim Howard and had to be argued out of it by his assistants.
When Hartford Athletic score at home, Brass Bonanza is played.
LAFC offload Andre Horta back to Portugal.

Woo-hoo! Playing at SMU's field instead of Toyota Park (not wanting to tear up pitch for Gold Cup matches?), NM Utd makes it to the elite eight beating FC Dallas 2-1.
Minnesota Kicks are next - screw Tino Lettieri --- Alan Merrick, West, & Willey will get owned! Living in the past.

I am currently unaware of any NMU offer for the Minnesota game - do tell!
Edit: Ah ha - i see there’s a cheap package deal for the game - I can’t make it but would think a number of fans will take advantage of it and be in the twin cities for the match.Last edited by Cal Alamein; 22-06-2019, 04:58.
