RIP Chippa Masinga

Former Leeds Utd striker and South African football legend Chippa Masinga died this morning of cancer. His goal sent SA to the 1998 World Cup, its first, for which he'll always be remembered.

Couldn't place his name but, of course, he was mainly known as Phil Masinga here. He was in the deal with Lucas Radebe, wasn't he? Was Yeboah signed around the same time as well? What a shame. 49 is no age at all.

Oh no. I didn't recognise Chippa but I remember Philomen Masinga. That's such a shame. Always looked like a nice guy.
