Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
This week sees the apex of the great Glasgow Rangers Football Club. League Cup in the bag, Scottish Cup not quite there yet, bloodied but unbowed after the dignified defeat in Manchester.
We now face our truest test. Unfortunately the new Scotland is a hostile land for those of a bluenose persuasion. Not only have the timmy mafia ensured that we do not have enough time to play our games, the 'luck of the dice' (fiddling in plain English) means that not only do we find our last game at that well-known poisoned well of hate-filled spew, Pittodrie; Celtic get to play a friendly at their daft wee cousins Dundee Hibernian, (or United as we are supposed to call them).
If Celtic do win this league, as they should do given all the favours they have been given, it will be a tarnished victory. They will know in their hearts that the 2nd best team won. They also know that next season will see them destroyed and weakened by an even mightier Rangers team.
To the players and supporters of Dundee United, any lack of effort will be noted and re-visited on you ten-fold next season. The pressure from the terrorists' chums will be immense. Remember the disabled getting smacked and the children thrown out of prams by Celtc supporters at Rugby Park? Rememebr the hounding of Gordon Marshall for trying to save a penalty?
To Aberdeen, we know you hate us more than you love yourself. Be careful before lying down with Timothy. He'll spit you out faster than a blighted potato, once he has had his way with you.
However, whatever Rangers go from strength to strength.
