Ian Wright/Crystal Palace/1990 Cup Final question

When he came off the bench to score two goals after recovering from a double fracture of his leg, had he played in any of Palace's games immeadiately prior to the final? Soccerbase has failed me on this one.

It was inspired by the ridiculous speculation that he could be on the bench at Wembley but not really no. I was just intruiged.

Think his last game before that was at home to Derby County between the Quarter final and the Semi. Can't remember any more, but Soccerbase should have it.

Ian Wright/Crystal Palace/1990 Cup Final question

Ian Wright broke his leg against Liverpool in January, came back in March for a couple of games, including the Quarter final at Cambridge, then broke it again against Derby.

Although at the end of the Semi final against Liverpool he did somehow manage to sprint from the bench to the Holte end to join in the celebrations.

I think Alan Hansen, with his media power, has had it removed from collective history.
