    Really? Did they? Oh, yeeeess....

It's just ocurred to me that in future years, Mauro Zárate will probably also qualify for this thread by virtue of the six months he spent with Al-Sadd in Qatar (I'm assuming it's only six months, because after his loan spell at Birmingham, some European club will surely pay them money for him).

On a not unrelated note, here's Romario's full list of clubs:

    Olaria (youths)
    Vasco da Gama (youths)
    Vasco da Gama
    PSV Eindhoven
    Barcelona
    Flamengo
    Valencia
    Flamengo
    Valencia
Flamengo (no, I've not got my keyboard stuck)
    Vasco da Gama
    Fluminense
    Al-Sadd
    Fluminense
    Vasco da Gama
    Miami FC
    Adelaide United
    Vasco da Gama

A couple stick out at the end there, a result of his extended quest for that thousandth goal (he finished on 442 competitive goals including internationals, incidentally). Al-Sadd were the only club he failed to score for.

Socrates for Garforth Town? Does that count?

Watching a youtube clip of City humping United 5-1 in the Manchester derby in 1989 I was amazed to see Ipswich Town legend, Paul Cooper, in goal for City.
