    Scorers at both Wembley Stadiums

I am not sure if you like what basically amounts to a trivia question on here, but I wanted to know if any of you can complete the list of players to have scored goals at both the old and new Wembley Stadiums.

I can only think of three so far:-

    Michael Owen

    Nwankwo Kanu

    Emile Heskey

Others who scored at the old stadium and are still playing in September 2009, and so have the chance to score at the new one include:-

    Nicolas Anelka

    Kevin Phillips

    Paul Scholes

    David Beckham

    Nicky Butt

    Mario Melchiot

    Marcus Stewart

    Richard Naylor

Can you think of any others?

Did Steve Guppy score at both? Or was he the first player to play at both

He and Jeff Kenna were both the first to play at both in the same game. Neither scored.

Unfortunately, Mark Bright didn't score at the old one either.

Sheringham & Claridge are both playing in the FA Cup this season I believe, so have a theoretical chance.

Did Giggs not score at the old Wembley then?

Sheringham's playing in the FA Vase, not sure if Claridge has any plans to play reularly for weymouth.

Fair dues Harry. Is the FA Vase final also held at Wembley?

Ooh, yes. Trivia questions are far more fun than watching Liverpool labour against a team the BBC suggested earlier are about Blue Square Conference standard.

Of course, the last time Liverpool played a team who were Blue Square Conference standard, they were 2-1 down to Havant and Waterlooville inside the first 15 minutes, so tonight's a marked improvement.

As the second half has been if anything even duller than the first:

Who's scored the most goals against Liverpool in the Premier League?

Ryan Giggs never scored at the old Wembley, but he has scored at the new one (Community Shield 2007 vs Chelsea).

Mark Bright scored in the first game played at the new Wembley but it wasn't an official match.

Guppy and Kenna were the first to play in finals at both Wembleys but neither managed goals at both.

Nicolas Anelka, David Beckham and Paul Scholes are the most likely players to score at the new stadium and join this exclusive list, but doesn't anyone think that even though there was only a 7 year gap, there aren't more than just 3 players to have scored at both?

It has been since it re-opened, but unsure of this season.

There must be Ingleland/lower division and even non-league players, who are potentially eligible to have/will score at both Wembley versions.

Thierry Henry is another possible future addition.

He scored at the old one in one of the Champions League matches that Arsenal played there.

So is Ljungberg, in theory. Maybe if he goes to play for Notts County in the winter and ends up in the LDV Vans final...

                                    Has done it?

Or is it a possible slightly more likely than Ljungberg?

Might Giggs have scored at the old one for England Schoolboys?

If Wrexham make the conference playoff, it's possible Sinclair could add to his 98 league cup final strike.

You could make a case that Ljungberg is likelier, frankly.

Near as I can make out from this article, Giggs only scored once for England, and it was in Birmingham.

Jamie Carragher! (of current English players - according to last week's Danny Baker)

Nick(y) Barmby scored twice for England schoolboys vs Bulgaria at Wembley way back in 1989.

He didn't score when he last played at the new stadium in the 2008 playoff final but I suppose he's on the "theoretically possible double scorers" list
