      Ha!

I was going to post this under "Bill Killed…"

(And I'd've gotten away with it too, etc. etc. etc.)

        I was contemplating David Carradied.

On reflection, I'm glad I was beaten to it.
I liked him as Woody Guthrie in Bound for Glory.

        Rest in peace.

Looks like he hanged himself, the poor divil.

He's gonna look even more cadaverous than usual now.

            RIP.

I suppose what follows now is his Kung Funeral. And 'Bill Killed' is exactly the thread title I came up with shortly after hearing of his demise.

I've vaguely heard of Kill Bill, but, obviously, never watched it, so I'd no idea that he was in it. Which wouldn't've made any difference anyway, as he'll always be Grasshopper to me...

He may have taken things a little too far.

I never had him pegged as being as being that old, which almost surprises me more than the manner of his passing.

Even before the nature of his death was being rumoured, the association of the words 'Found', 'Dead', 'Bangkok' and 'Hotel' was enough to fuel suggestions amongst my right-on work colleagues that this could have been a Hutchence-esque demise.

The pilot of Kung Fu was excellent, the series less so (I never did find out if he got reunited with his brother). His performance in Kill Bill was very good, but it was not the only one.

He was a cool sob, but to me his dad (another under-rated actor) was just that little bit cooler.

When I told my wife about his death, the first thing she said was, "now, did he mean to hang himself, or was this a Michael Hutchence thing?" Guess she was right to guess.

An AP story about this mentions that he was found naked with a rope tied around his genitals, but carefully avoids suggesting any sexual component to it--just saying that it was "accidental."

Aw, poor Michael Hutchence. According to TV Mr. P's book, autoerotic asphyxiation wasn't the cause of death, but he's always going to be the poster child for it.

Along the lines of what yikka was saying, this is how David Carradine would've gone, isn't it ?
