Woohoo! I love Lost.

Today's free paper had a feature on Josh Holloway (swoon). He's all windswept and bare-chested. And he seems really sweet. He says he never knows what to do when people stop him for photos in the street. 'Si he refuse, je passe pour un con, et si j'accepte, trop de monde m'en demande!"

Oh, if I was so inclined, I would.

Where are we? Well, when we last left our friends in flash-forward mode, Jack was in a funeral home looking at Locke in a coffin, and the former boss of The Others told him that the Oceanic Six must return to the island, which the utterly lovely Kate doesn't want to do.

So, Locke, Swayer, Clare, the dopey doctor and the archaelogist woman who escaped from an Indiana Jones movie are on the island. As his Jack's dead dad. I have no idea what happened to the black woman and her husband (did they get blown up with the ship), and I presume Michael went up with the ship as well. But I suspect we might see him holding on to driftwood in the first episode. And we know Jin is still alive from the birth forward flash.

Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayeed, Sun and the baby are off the island and must now return.

I think that sums it up.

i have seen the first two episodes of the new season

jin indeed dead and bernard and joyce (black woman and white guy elderly couple) are very much on the island and arguing constantly

the hispanic woman who was an LA cop, shot in season 2 shows up in one of hurleys nuts invisible friends scenes. Does add weight to the view she has been the hottest woman on Lost

So his rushing around to get the panda did not happen at the same time as Sun giving birth? Who would have thought it that Lost might manipulate its viewers?

IIRC, there were some subtle give-aways during Jin's scenes in that episode indicating that it couldn't be happening at the same time. I didn't pick up on them at the time, however.

I was away sunday, and can't find it in my newspaper tv weekly schedules...is it on Sky 2 or something?

Thanks, rick-I caught it by chance flicking past Sky 2 last night.

My tv listings don't do Sky 2, hence my disorientation.

I'm increasingly seeing some of these episodes as being like Marvel comics 'What if...?' one-offs.

Unless of course there's now gonna be another Juliet-Kate face off, over 'LaFleur' this time.
