Servalan was great. That's it, really. Thanks, Jacqueline!

Of course, Servalan and Travis had a success rate comparable to Vulture Squadron's pursuit of Yankee Doodle Pigeon, Tom's attempts to capture Jerry and Hamilton Burger's wins against Perry Mason.

However, all mysteriously kept their jobs.

They did get a new Travis in after a while. No-one was ever going to sack Servalan: the second it occurred to them she'd wander into the room, smile sweetly and inform them that the nice drink they were consuming was poisoned.

Travis was fired though, wasn't he?

And Servalan was deposed, only to turn up as Sleer, and then take back command.

Blake and the Liberator were merely an irritation to the Federation, operating in its distant provinces.

She wanted it to help consolidate control around Earth, but didn't really need it.

It was the computer they were always after, wasn't it? The annoying thing with the voice.

                An eerie prediction of Siri.
