        It's just "It's a trap!" isn't it?

Oh, I see what you did there.

I haven't been so affected since Big Ron from EastEnders died.

Oh, was it him? It was so long ago I'd forgotten, but the phrase is lodged in my head.

                  "It's a death trap"

One of my prized dad jokes is exclaiming "Careful!" each time we're out and about and I see a horse-drawn carriage, then waiting for everyone to react in a mildly panic-stricken manner before pointing to it and saying "It might be a trap!".

They love that, the kids. Every time.

Well it was him taking off Lynn Faulds Wood as a recurring sketch on The Mary Whitehouse Experience, stating that increasingly innocuous objects were... y'know...

What was the Baddiel schtick with him in a hi-vis jacket and hard hat then?

                      Different running gag?

This has given me a Boomtown Rats earworm
"little Julies trying to watch Top of the Pops" etc.
                        Thank you not very much.

I thought you lived in Lancaster, not 1850.

Where Mumpo lives is pretty much Amish.
