Saw this last night

Good and unusual enough for it's own thread I think. It's not necessarily terrifying all the way through, but the setting – New England puritan settlers in the 17th century, who speak in period dialogue, some of which is taken directly from court reports – is unlikely enough on its own to set you on edge. It's a very quiet film, too, again, something you don't get everyday.
The plot perhaps could be better, but there's a very strong central theme of religious hysteria and misogyny that sticks with you.
