Use VCL. You'll want that among your media players anyway.
That way, you can get the english subtitles.
Once started in VCL go Menu -> Video -> Subtitles Track and chose english

If you use Windows Media Player, look for the option "Lyrics, captions and subtitles" in the menu for english.
