Basically, Caitlin Moran and her sister's upbringing in Wolverhampton brought up to the date to now. Started off oddly as it was so obviously harking back to the 70s but using modern references. However, it seems to have settled now and the characters have taken on their own personas rather than being fairly obviously the Morans.
Good characters all the way around, even the smaller ones and a lot of well-observed set-pieces and the pay-offs aren't lazy and obvious. A fair amount of laugh out loud moments which you obviously want from a comedy but too often from the more wry comedies.
