Ideas to Pitch to Channel 4

Slightly Brown wrote: Good film too. I nearly drowned at Portobello Beach on the off-chance that such aquatic wonders existed.
Now you mention it, I think I did the same. We were clearly hopeless romantics, even at an early age.

It was on Berrow beach here in the south-west, but the only thing I caught was radiation poisoning from hinkley point nuclear power station. And no, I didn't gain any superpowers, though I did end up with a fin. So it kind of came full circle.

        Guess My Wait?

Here, contestants watch short clips of customers who've been waiting for a delivery that could come at any time between 10am-6pm - if at all - whilst attempting to guess how long they've been waiting for, based on the customers stress and anger levels.

          Saturday kitchen recorded

Look, James Martin got completely shit-faced and wavy whilst out yesterday, he'll only end up spewing, before trying to pass it off as an omelette.

And that's my idea of kitchen hell! Amirite?

            Dr Rous

Irascible old English referee and president of FIFA (played by Webb out of Mitchell and Webb) is presented each week with almost insoluble You Are The Ref type problems which he and his team on minions have to solve. A usual episode arc tends to them awarding lots of red cards and penalties before finally realising that the actual incident was merely worthy of a quick word and a drop ball.

It wasn't intended as a dig at yer man Jones, who earns a tidy living from appearing in conventions, and also appeared in Seth Mcfarlane's comedy movie Ted last year. Now, if he was to appear on a show that involved living in an attic for a week, it may be a different thing altogether...
