It's making me really uncomfortable that GB News are all over this.

Are there other allegations about Schofield?

There must be a secure and safe way for whistleblowers to share their concerns which are neither brushed under the carpet nor triggers a nuclear response option. But sadly, they seem to be the reactions to whistleblowing and those reactions are based upon how much financial damage is caused to an institution.
Do you have a link to this because I can't find it?

Actually, that's not the video I'm referring to, someone has put up a collage with other interviews including the young man and Holly, but it starts with the video above. Tbh, I'm not so cool linking to Twitter accounts that are clearly conspiracy theorists/homophobic/right-wing.

Just checked, the collage is the youtube video, turns out its his showreel.

A similar story has emerged in the BBC today, but again for legal reasons, best not to comment further.

Somewhat ironic the The Sun is running a scandal about paying for naked photos of a 17 year old.

The BBC has now suspended the man. With all the speculation about his identity, which has lead to defamation of a number of individuals online, surely the BBC would be better off naming this person.

And the victim blaming is something else. This person was a 17 year old child at the time.

As someone else pointed out, it took the BBC longer to suspend this person than it took them to suspend Gary Lineker for saying something on his personal Twitter account the Government didn’t like.

Meanwhile the BBC has dropped its Panorama show about sex predators in Parliament from the schedules.

If it's a certain person that's very prominent in Twitter accusations I'm going to be really disappointed.

I'd suggest saying as little as possible about this, even in jest.

I'm led to believe there are sound legal reasons why the BBC haven't named the employee as yet and it certainly seems the common sense approach too.

                                  Absolutely

Lawyers have already been instructed with regard to some of the social media speculation

Twitter today feels like a collective attempt to commit the most defamation in one 24-hour period. Even if it does turn out to be one of those whose names keep on trending, all the others would have actionable claims against those who are getting a little overheated with their Defund The BBC opinions.

Why is "RS Archer" still tweeting when he's been debunked as a fake on multiple occasions now?

Nothing like the ridiculous "it is a distraction from something happening which wouldn't be a news event anyway". A deadline to hand over documents. Sure that would have been front page.

Has "Jonathan Pie" decoupled from the Spiked wanker who was scripting the lines, or is this grifting both sides of the culture war?
