I would have Paths of Glory ahead of Barry Lyndon (in the Sight and Sound 100)

Me too. As a huge Kubrick fan I never thought Barry Lyndon was much bottle.

I watched The Odd Couple yesterday evening, which I love, but which reminded me that I probably should have found a place in my Top 20 for The Sunshine Boys.

Ugh, Out of Sight might not be a great film but it's incredibly cool and sexy.

Out Of Sight is a great film.

My 11-20 has grown to about 50 or 60 reading this thread and realising all the ones I missed out.

Yeah, maybe I should have fit it in somewhere.

I've been thinking about the films that nearly made this list, and it's ones that just fail to stick the landing.

For example, Kung Fu Hustle is blisteringly good all the way through to the final fight where is just goes a bit too far for me. It's a bit too extravagant and schmaltzy.
