Nick was a nice person, with whom I had many mutuals. I knew him very vaguely from the club scene and knew his brother Barry, who also died young.
There was more to him than the modelling, he made music.

A quick Google has educated me about Barry's role in the Buffalo subculture of the 80s and the Kamens' overcoming the racist obstacles that may have hindered them given their diverse ancestry including Burmese, Dutch and Irish. Apologies for my flippancy above in light of that.Comment
