Mary Ann Hobbs has achieved goddess status in our house since lockdown 1 began and we started listening to music for twelve or fourteen hours each day.

And stuff like this is part of the reason why. She has great taste. Some lovely stuff on here.

I think she has good taste in music, but her voice really grates on me, which is a shame, so I enjoyed that, thanks. (I tried to convince myself she was just a sort of modern Bob Harris, but it didn't work.)

I usually only do radio music "live" in the kitchen or the car, so I only became aware of this kind of Sounds mix quite recently. The All Day Diwali one was wonderful, if you like that kind of thing.
