Way too early for this but they announced the Best Documentary shortlist:
I've only seen The Beaches of Agnes out of that list which was very good. She has such a presence and so much life about her.
Neither Tyson or Capitalism: A Love Story made the list. I've heard good things about Burma VJ but it only played for one night in Dublin so I missed it. Anyone seen any of the other films shortlisted?
Alternatively just use this to talk about documentaries? It seems to be an underrepresented part of the cinema industry with arguably some of the best talents of the medium working in it.
