"the absolute legal minimum covering is essential"

"Cellar bar or high class nightclub, a dancer with the absolute legal minimum covering is essential."

Wow, has this amazing 1961 documentary, West End Jungle been discussed? It's an, ahem, 'expose' of the Soho sex trade of the era. It's amazing. It was banned at the time, because it was too good.*

This doc is so good it's OTF-athonable. It's astonishing. It's available for a couple of hours on iPlayer. A complete must-watch. There are, I feel, other ways one could procure it as well, if you ask the right people.

Nil plus nil = two: "He's only entitled to a five-minute session of peering at a girl who could do with a good wash."

Fascinating piece of work, isn't it?

Aha. I'm feeling the loathing and self-disgust than inevitably follows an cheap, unwanted thread.

Not much time to post right now, but they've had London in the Raw and Primitive London in HMV here for awhile, and it's only the eighteen quid price tag that's been putting me off buying them.
