I am about halfway through this and liking it a lot. Cleese is a subtle and intelligent observer of relationships and is self-effacing enough to avoid the solipsism that often infests celeb autobiogs.

To some degree, yes; he has the usual whine about "political correctness."

The first half of the book (on childhood and school) is great; the second half does become the usual boring tour through his CV.
