From my sister. Alice Munro's Runaway. A pleasant surprise because my blister normally sends CDs I never play or decorative candles and similar tat. And, excellent though she was, I haven't read any Munro for years.
From AdeC jr., David Grann's The Wager, which I was getting around to buying myself as I enjoyed Killers of the Flower Moon so much.
And from La Signora Eddie Muller's Noir Bar. Seventy five appropriate cocktails (with recipes) chosen for the same number of classic noir flicks.
