As a regular purchaser of books, which I have typically bought online from UK booksellers, I'm looking for some option which allows to me to buy books without taking on exorbitant post-Brexit shipping fees. It occurs to me that there must be booksellers in Ireland who will ship to me for a standard in-EU fee. So, can anyone suggest a site I might look into using?

www.easons.com is their website, just checking Hodges Figgis and their online sales go through Waterstone's so that may not help you .

Dubray books are decent and seem to deliver to the EU. Certainly better than the uniquely depressing Easons.

Actually there's nothing unique about how Easons is depressing, it's a pure WH Smith shopping experience as El Guapo says. With maybe added useless customer service like something from the 70s (slowest queues ever in their Nassau St store).

Does it have to be an actual book shop? https://www.bookdepository.com/ is free shipping everywhere

My local independent: https://gutterbookshop.com
An independent bookstore that posts worldwide. Most Irish stores get their stock from Britain and will post via Britain so you might not get around the headache of Brexit shipping fees but another one to investigate.
