Help me find a cook book

A specific one. Firstly, it's not English Food by Grigson. But, it covered the same sort of area and historical scope. I want to say that it mentioned British Isles or Britain in the title (more likely British Isles). My parents had it as a paperback, probably sometime from the mid 70s to early 80s. (God I miss paperback cookbooks).

The cover had, I think, a pale blue or yellow oval with the title in it. But I can't remember anything else.

It's a long shot but if that rings a bell please do let me know.

I've found it! And I misled you with my description for which I am very sorry. It's The Cooking of England by Elisabeth Ayrton. Looking at covers I think we also had English Provincial Cooking but it's Cooking of England that's been nagging away at me.

I've ordered the Heath as well.
