    Sad news indeed. Still, a good innings, and of course some wonderful books. Our lad's a big fan of the Mog ones in particular. Think we'll have a couple of those at bedtime tonight

      I see that she was this week's Q&A in the Graun Weekend magazine. Looking at the release date of the tiger book, I can see why it never crossed my path.

        I've watched a number of interviews with her on YouTube.

        What a wonderful and modest human being.

              There was a lovely obituary in the Times. I loved the detail of how she and her sister thought every railway station was called Bovril when they first arrived in England.
